She has been working in the sphere of aquaculture for a long time. She is a trained Senior Manager (Senior Management Course) in Kenya School of Government, Mombasa. She has published more than 30 papers, 7 books and book chapters in SCI-indexed journals of aquatic sciences research.
I am currently working on a research project on Identification and monitoring of fish cage aquaculture with remote sensing and machine learning. The research is funded by Science and Technology Facilities Council, UK. Notably, I am also currently working on a research project on an interactive, web-based lake zonation tool for supporting the sustainable development of cage fish farming in Lake Victoria, Kenya. The project is supported by Agri-tech Catalyst Seeding Fund.
