I am a holder of MSc. Degree in Aquaculture and BSc. Degree in Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences from Moi University (currently University of Eldoret). I am pursuing my PhD studies in Fisheries Management in Kisii University. Currently I am involved in research activities in KMFRI, Kegati Aquaculture Research station on fish breeding, feeding and socio-economics in aquaculture. I am also involved in fish marketing studies on consumer preference of farmed and wild fish in Kenya.I do supervise students on attachment and internship at Diploma, Degree and Masters level. In my work in KMFRI, I have co-authored eight papers in peer-refereed international journals, one abstract and submitted one manuscripts for consideration for publication in journals.
