• Received Research grant from National Council of Science Technology and Innovation (NACOSTI) for my MSc. Thesis (Assessment of the sensitivity of the native Chironomus species in monitoring of riverine ecosystems in the catchments of Lake Victoria Drainage Basin, Kenya).
• I have participated in Lake Baringo Research Expedition where I was involved in limnological studies.
• Carried out riverine studies in the catchments of Lake Victoria Basin where I have studied biomonitoring of water quality in Rivers Kisat and Kisian
• Participated in ecotoxicological research in Rivers Nzoia and Mbogo, a tributary to R. Nyando
