David Masai

Mr. Masai is a researcher and has worked within the fresh water environment for over 15 years within lake Victoria and other small fresh water bodies within the western parts of Kenya. He has worked various fields including on the systematics distribution of the zooplankton communities and their contribution to fisheries of Lake   lakes and other small water bodies in western part of Kenya. The composition and diversity of fish species within the small water bodies. He later changed his interest to aquaculture and worked towards identifying a suitable fish species for culture in the country.

 Regiona chair information and communication outreach (ICO) for IFMP  regional project. Within the institute he has undertaken various responsibilities being the station coordinator in one of the aquaculture station. Currently the Liaison officer and the station coordinator Nairobi station.
