Dr. Erick Ogello

Dr. Erick Ochieng Ogello is a top KMFRI researcher based in Kegati Station, Aquaculture Division, and specialises in fish live food and larviculture production. He holds a BSc in Fisheries from Moi University (Kenya), an MSc in Aquaculture from Ghent University (Belgium), and a PhD in Fisheries Science from Nagasaki University in Japan. Dr. Ogello is currently involved in establishment of cultivable live foods for larviculture of fish species aimed at improving national
food security through aquaculture value chain, and replenishing the dwindling wild fish stocks.
