Dr. Ogello is a KMFRI research scientist currently based in Sangoro Aquaculture Research Station, and is also the Station Coordinator. Dr. Ogello is a specialist in fish live food production, larviculture production and Biofloc Technology (BFT). Dr. Ogello holds a BSc in Fisheries (First Class Honours) from Moi University, Kenya, an MSc in Aquaculture (Great Distinction) from Ghent University, Belgium, and a PhD in Fisheries Science from Nagasaki University, Japan. Dr. Ogello is currently involved in establishment of cultivable live food resources, larviculture techniques and biofloc aquaculture initiatives aimed at improving national food security through aquaculture value chain linkages.
